Travel Consultant role

Thank you for your message, and I understand how frustrating it can be to get so close and still miss out. The fact that you have reached the final stage twice shows you are doing many things right. At this point, the difference between getting the offer and just missing it often comes down to two things:

• Showing you understand the specific expectations of the role in the UK market, such as sales targets, customer service standards, and compliance with travel regulations

• Giving interview answers that not only describe what you did in the past, but also demonstrate how those actions directly match the competencies the employer is testing for

For a Travel Consultant role, employers will expect examples that highlight your sales ability, knowledge of travel products, skill in building rapport with customers, and how you handle challenges such as last-minute changes or complaints. Use the STAR method to give detailed, results-focused examples.

I recommend researching a few UK-based job descriptions for travel consultants and looking for common keywords. Make sure those skills and qualities appear in your CV and in your interview answers.
