1. Know the BHSCT Values & NHS Six Cs

   • Familiarise yourself with: supporting service users’ independence, delivering activities, safeguarding, working with families, recording/reporting, and multidisciplinary teamworking.

   • Have practical examples showing you can handle these responsibilities.

4. Show Awareness of Safeguarding & Equality

   • Safeguarding vulnerable adults and promoting dignity, equality, and respect are critical.

   • Be ready to explain what safeguarding means, how you’d respond to concerns, and how you promote inclusivity in a care setting.
