Hi there, Waqar. I hope you are well... Richard McMunn here! I would be very happy to help you:

✅ 7 Powerful Tips for Building an ATS-Friendly Resume for the UAE Job Market (from Pakistan):

  1. Use a Clean, Simple Format – Avoid graphics, tables, text boxes, or fancy fonts. ATS systems struggle to read these. Stick to a standard, professional font like Arial or Calibri.

  2. Tailor Each Resume – Match your resume keywords to the job description. ATS scans for skills, experience, and job-specific terms. Use the exact words employers list in their requirements.

  3. Include a Strong Profile Summary – Open with 4–5 impactful lines highlighting your key skills, industry experience, and the value you’ll bring to UAE employers. This is the first thing hiring managers will read after the ATS shortlists you.

  4. Highlight Achievements, Not Just Duties – Use bullet points to show what you delivered. Example: “Increased sales by 15% in 6 months” instead of “Responsible for sales.” Numbers and results always stand out.

  5. Structure for ATS Scanning – Use clear section headings such as Professional Experience, Education, Skills, Certifications. Keep everything left-aligned with consistent formatting.

  6. Prioritize UAE-Relevant Skills – Research the UAE job market in your field and ensure your resume emphasizes international experience, transferable skills, and any certifications or languages that are valued in the region.

  7. Keep It Concise – For UAE applications, a 2-page resume is ideal. Make every line count by focusing only on relevant experience that will get you noticed by hiring managers.

Hi @eben102124007, thanks for sharing. I can certainly help with your Casino Croupier, Waiter, or Cleaner resume.

Here are a few quick pointers to make yours strong:

Pick ONE target role per resume

If you apply as “Croupier/Waiter/Cleaner” on one resume, employers don’t know what you are. Create a version for each.

Your top section should match the role

Example for Croupier: “Casino croupier with experience in table games, guest service and handling cash/chips accurately.”

Example for Waiter: “Customer-focused waiter skilled in busy service, upselling and POS.”

Example for Cleaner: “Reliable cleaner with high standards of hygiene, safe use of chemicals and fast turnaround.”

Use achievement-style bullets, not duties

Example: “Handled high-volume tables while maintaining accuracy and customer experience.”

Example: “Maintained cleanliness standards across X rooms/areas per shift.”

Example: “Upsold menu items and supported smooth service during peak hours.”

Add a simple skills section

Croupier: table games, chip handling, mental maths, customer service, integrity.

Waiter: service, POS, upselling, teamwork, handling complaints.

Cleaner: hygiene, COSHH awareness, attention to detail, time management.

But to really impress, you should not only list the skills, but also demonstrate where you have done them. This gives proof to the employer that it's more than just words, you have the experience to back it up.

If you would like me to write your resume for you, and ensure it's one that will impress, I can do so today: https://cvmadeeasy.co.uk/

Any questions, let me know 🙂

Richard
