HI!!
I have an interview coming up, with a NHS hospital ICU, a band 2 healthcare support worker position. I really want to get this job and I am really stressed, I can't wait to get a new job.
I am struggling on how to prepare 'tell me about yourself' question, and 'strengths and weakness' question, I failed my last interview with the question 'Tell us about a time you made a mistake in a clinical setting, and how did you handle it?', I gave them a honest answer. Also, I wonder how I could really prepare myself before the interview, I get nervous when the question is new to me and the room goes quiet when I was thinking how to answer the question. It feels really awkward.

Are you currently working in a healthcare setting or coming into the NHS for the first time?
Do you know if it will be face-to-face or online?
Those details will help me guide you on how to structure your “Tell me about yourself” answer and handle the “strengths and weaknesses” and “mistake” questions more confidently.

Thank you so much for your reply.
Yes, I am currently working as a care assistant in a nursing home, I deal with dementia patient and provide everyday personal care, etc.. Also, I completed my placement before in the same hospital where I am going to interview with.
The interview is going to be a face-to-face one, with two interviewers.
